Product Name: Abamectin

This product is a contact and stomach insecticide with limited systemic activity, also known commercially as Vertimec. It belongs to the avermectin chemical group. It acts on gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death. Application should begin at the first sign of infestation. Repeat applications may be necessary for high pest populations.
Abamectin is registered with the Iranian Pesticide Supervisory Board for the control of the following pests:

Environmental Toxicity: Extremely hazardous to bees, fish, and other aquatic organisms; hazardous to birds.
Precautions: Strictly avoid eating, drinking, or smoking during application.
Symptoms of Poisoning: Headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, and visual disturbances.
First Aid: In case of poisoning, immediately consult a physician with the Acaricide label.
Antidote: There is no specific antidote. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
