NEMESIS Magnesium is a liquid, water-soluble fertilizer containing 10% magnesium (MgO), used to prevent and correct magnesium deficiencies in various orchard, field, and greenhouse crops. Its application throughout the growth stages, especially during fruit setting, is recommended to boost photosynthesis and increase yield. In stone fruit trees, applying NEMESIS Magnesium during the hardening of the pit (a highly energy-demanding stage) accelerates this phase, increasing the ratio of edible fruit flesh to pit. For oilseed crops like sunflowers, olives, and canola, foliar application of NEMESIS Magnesium can lead to higher yields of better-quality oil. Magnesium is easily leached from the soil by heavy or moderate irrigation. Therefore, foliar application is the preferred method to directly supply the plant with this element. In fertilization programs with high potassium use, sufficient magnesium supplementation is crucial. High potassium levels interfere with magnesium uptake, causing mosaic-like spots on leaves. If the plant’s magnesium needs are unmet, reduced photosynthesis leads to lower yields.
