Iron is a micronutrient whose uptake by plants is heavily influenced by soil pH and calcium levels. High pH and excessive calcium convert iron into unavailable forms, even if sufficient iron is present in the soil. Therefore, the best way to supply iron is through chelated forms. Among all available iron chelates, EDDHA is the best option for supplying iron in most agricultural areas of Iran due to its stability across a wide range of soil pH.

PRINOVA Fe-EDDHA 6% (O-O 3.2%) isomer is among the first-generation ortho-ortho iron chelates. Because it has a lower ortho percentage compared to other levels, it’s suitable for use in soils with moderate alkalinity. It exhibits reduced stability in soils with very high lime content, but still contains the same 6% iron found in other ortho-ortho levels. This iron chelate can be used in fields with iron deficiency, particularly in greenhouse cultivation.
