To date, twenty essential amino acids crucial for plant growth and development have been identified, each playing a specific role in plant tissues based on its structure. Plants naturally produce amino acids involved in cell protection (such as proline and glycine) in response to stress. However, under severe stress, such as extremely low temperatures, the quantity of these protective amino acids is insufficient to safeguard cells and repair damaged tissues. This leads to metabolic disruption, causing significant harm to the plant and ultimately reducing crop yield. Furthermore, the opening and closing of stomata, which regulate transpiration and photosynthesis, are disrupted under adverse environmental conditions, causing closure of stomata responsible for nutrient and gas uptake. Certain amino acids (like glutamic acid) prevent stomatal closure by influencing stomatal cells. Importantly, some amino acids (such as glutamic acid and glycine) chelate nutrients, significantly improving their transport and absorption. As organic compounds, these amino acid chelators are prioritized over chemical chelating agents.
AGROMIN Amino Starter is an organic amino acid blend that provides essential amino acids for plant growth under both normal and stressful conditions. It utilizes amino acids as chelating agents for nutrients and contains a balanced ratio of nitrogen, potassium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, boron, and molybdenum. Thus, under environmental stress and nutrient uptake disruption, AGROMIN Amino Starter improves the plant’s resilience and tissue repair capacity through its amino acid content. Simultaneously, it mitigates damage and enhances yield by supplying essential nutrients whose absorption is impaired under stress.
