Product Name: Metaldehyde

This is a contact and stomach poison molluscicide formulated as small cylindrical pellets (ready-to-use bait) for the control of wireworms, slugs, and snails. Metaldehyde, in low humidity conditions, causes immobility and death of the mollusks. Application should be in small piles at dusk after irrigation and with the expectation of several sunny days following application.
Metaldehyde is registered with the Iranian Pesticide Supervisory Board for the control of the following pests:

Environmental Toxicity: This compound is dangerous to birds, bees, fish, and other aquatic life.
Precautions: Strictly avoid eating, drinking, or smoking during application.
Symptoms of Poisoning: Headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, and visual disturbances.
First Aid: In case of poisoning, immediately consult a physician with the pesticide label.
Antidote: Atropine sulfate should be used under the supervision of a doctor.
