Product Features

Calcium uptake from soil into plants is highly sensitive and influenced by environmental factors. Adverse weather conditions like wind, cloud cover, extreme temperatures (both hot and cold) that cause stomata closure reduce transpiration and consequently impair or prevent calcium translocation from soil to plant, even leading to deficiency symptoms.

NEMESIS Calbor is a highly effective product for preventing and correcting calcium deficiencies in plants. It contains 19% soluble calcium (CaO) and 0.4% boron. This fertilizer leverages the synergistic effect of calcium and boron in nutrient uptake and transport within the plant. The balanced combination of these two elements in NEMESIS Calbor aids their mutual absorption. However, it’s crucial to note that high calcium levels can inhibit boron absorption, leading to boron deficiency symptoms. NEMESIS Calbor‘s formulation enhances calcium uptake while maintaining a balance between calcium and boron absorption.

Using NEMESIS Calbor in agricultural products, especially greenhouse crops, reduces flower and fruit drop, increases healthy pollen production, improves pollination, and consequently boosts yield. By strengthening plant tissues, it extends the storage life of produce, reduces damage from environmental stress, and minimizes damage from sucking pests like aphids and whiteflies, thereby reducing pesticide use. In fruit trees such as apricots and apples, NEMESIS Calbor prevents internal browning and corking of the fruit tissue, avoiding misshapen fruit and cracking.

Note: NEMESIS Calbor should not be mixed with fertilizers or pesticides containing sulfur, phosphorus, or copper.
