NEMESIs Manganese is a liquid, water-soluble fertilizer containing 10% manganese, used to prevent and correct manganese deficiencies in fruit trees, field crops, and greenhouse plants. In fruit trees, it’s applied after petal fall and the beginning of fruit formation to enhance photosynthesis and optimize nutrient production for developing fruits. In vineyards, NEMESIs Manganese is most effective from bud break to fruit set, and in field crops, during the 4-6 leaf stage. Manganese activates over 35 enzymes in plants, including those crucial for lignin and phytoalexin biosynthesis. Manganese deficiency disrupts lignin formation, reducing root resistance to soilborne pathogens. Adequate manganese supply, however, promotes proper lignin deposition in root cells, protecting against soilborne diseases, especially wheat foot rot. When using NEMESIs Manganese, avoid mixing it with high-calcium or high-phosphorus products. Also, avoid over-application, as this can disrupt the balanced uptake of other essential nutrients like calcium and potassium.
