Despite abundant total phosphorus in Iranian soils (due to high phosphate fertilizer use), plant-available phosphorus is negligible. Phosphorus availability is also pH-dependent; in alkaline and calcareous soils, it becomes insoluble and unavailable. Therefore, reducing alkalinity and acidifying the root zone is crucial for better phosphorus uptake.
PRINOVA Urea Phosphate is a cost-effective, liquid-formulated fertilizer containing nitrogen and phosphorus, two essential nutrients vital for early plant growth. Its high solubility, acidic nature, and descaling properties make it ideal for alkaline and calcareous soils, preventing blockage of irrigation systems. The low pH also prevents rapid phosphorus fixation in the soil and enhances the uptake of nitrogen and other nutrients. PRINOVA Urea Phosphate is highly effective for initial root development and boosting growth at the beginning of the season (before bud break).
Note: It is not suitable for hydroponic systems and is incompatible with calcium and magnesium fertilizers. Mixing with humic substances results in gel formation, making application difficult, but this does not negatively affect the fertilizer’s quality.
